Biography

Dr Rajendra-Prasad Yadav is Coordinator for the Accelerated Communicable Disease Control unit at the WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific.

Dr Yadav has over 25 years of experience in communicable disease control, primary health care strengthening, and digital innovation, with WHO roles in India, Papua New Guinea, Cambodia, and the Philippines. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree and a Doctor of Medicine in Preventive and Social Medicine, and has published extensively on tuberculosis and health systems.
